Pros: I was on a quest for knowledge while I was there and really soaked up all the information that was given. If you want to be successful, that is what you have to do. The after-lunch lectures given were so full of information and presented in a way that made me want to listen and learn more. 1-2 times a month, a Dr. would give a lecture which was great too. The rest of the lectures kind of sucked. Every workout was a learning experience as well, especially all of the components of strength training, so make sure you pay attention to all of the information given to you! Cons: For 3 months, I did everything in my power to give 100% at every workout, did not stray from the diet one iota (even though I have a severe allergy to some of the crap they served us - less than tasty, by the way) but my results were about 2lbs lost per week. I got the same results on Slim Fast, no offense to people who like working out 6 hours a day. To make things worse, the trainers literally make fun of you. If you are limping, they single you out and tease you in front of the 10 to 20 other people in the class. If your foot is so swollen it won't fit into your shoe, they laugh at you for wanting a break. This program is not friendly toward dietary restrictions. It is lean meat and dairy heavy; I had to bug the hell out of them to get dairy free options because of a dairy allergy, but by the end of my stay I was eating dairy anyway because dairy-free just made the program harder. Aside from that, there were also some questionable foods being fed to us on occasion (the one coming to mind now was fried chicken pieces in a "healthy" coleslaw...when I asked what that was about, they simply said it wasn't enough to cause any weight gain.
